I still can’t talk about it without tearing up. My life is forever changed and wonderment, gratitude and laughter continue to be closer to the surface. A fully fresh perspective came on like a shot one morning - I’d never envisioned a different life until I saw the sun rise on thirty elephants marching past my tent close enough to touch and, just for a second, I considered living out my life surrounded by an incredible vastness, amazing animals and welcoming people eager to show me a brighter day. Empathy and appreciation overwhelm me as this was my Africa and I am forever grateful to have shared it. - jw
