We purchased our fabulous RPSI mare, Hera from Jessica Wisdom in
February of 2010. Jessica was extremely professional during the
sale process. Since Jessica started Hera, we decided to keep
her in Washington, until May of 2010. She made it to Alaska in
late May and was in great shape! So impressed was I with
Jessica’s training and instruction, I decided to put on the
first of many dressage clinics, here in Alaska in February 2011.
That was a year ago and now clinics are booked solid and I have
waiting lists! She is amazing in her ability to work with timid
riders, young riders and FEI riders. She moves from one to the
other with grace, every rider feels compelled to work hard for
her. Her instruction is clear and concise. As a direct result
of her instruction, this summer was an outstanding year for my
daughter, Gabrielle and Hera both in the dressage ring and in
the hunter jumper ring. Gabrielle was thirteen and Hera just
five, yet they still garnered many championships this summer.
Jessica is a one in a million. She does a tremendous amount for
the Alaska horse community including coming back to Alaska when
the weather is double digit below zero, pouring
rain/wind/snowing and it is all done with a smile.

| My horse, Jet (Final Outcome), and I are immeasurably grateful to Jessica for her outstanding teaching and equestrian skills, professionalism, and compassion. Having raced for three years followed by many years of eventing and the past five years as a hunter, Jet definitely behaved as though speed and bully strength comprised the most important qualities a rider could desire. When Jessica met us and realized she was dealing with a twenty-one-year-old horse and a rider past her prime, I’m sure she must have wondered if this project could succeed. Well, after only five months, Jessica’s transformation of Jet is amazing, and my skills are being constantly improved and honed. Jet is almost off his forehand, balanced, and responding so much more effectively to the aids. Jessica never lets us off with less than what she knows we can accomplish, continually holding us to higher standards. I am so thankful that she takes Jet seriously despite his age and gives me such support and excellent instruction. Thanks Jessica! Because of you, Ellie and I finally made it to the dressage show ring this year, and to top it all off we won a blue ribbon. Before you I was only confusing my horse and we both were ready to give up. Thanks to you teaching me effective riding. I am now riding without frustration and have been improving every time I ride, the "lightbulb" moments are a regular occurrence. I cannot thank you enough for always knowing what we need to be working on, and keeping me focused there. I also want to thank you for never judging us or focusing on our limitations, you truly make dressage and good riding accessible to all riders and all horses. Jessica is wonderful! I have never felt like I'm making so much progress with my riding until we met Jessica. She is very easy to understand and pushes you beyond your comfort zone in a very good way. Both my horse and I love our lessons and hope that we will be able to learn from Jessica for many years to come.

Jessica has helped me a great deal in making a remarkable difference in my riding and my horse's performance. Her ability to quickly identify our core issues and communicate effectively what I needed to change helped me make some rapid breakthroughs. My horse is now much better in the contact and is using his topline and back muscles in a correct manner. Jessica effectively teaches how to really get a horse using his back and core muscles without excessive force. I would highly recommend her lessons.
